“Overnaching in de Deux Lacs”
The house itself and its location were great, and the room was spacious and the owners were very friendly.

I had a pleasant stay in a quiet, preserved nature setting. I really appreciated Christine and Marco’s kindness and flexibility, which let me stay an extra day, and their little touches. I fell in love with this lovely house and its garden, close to a peaceful lake where I even took a dip.

The hosts welcomed me with a warm smile and made it clear that they were all about guest satisfaction, even offering a nice bottle of beer when I arrived, which I really appreciated. The room was perfect for my short stay: clean, well presented, a comfortable bed, and plenty of space. The shower was fantastic, with plenty of pressure and hot water, and the cubicle was roomy and well equipped. The towels provided were excellent. Breakfast had a personal touch, was fresh, and plentiful. The location was brilliant—very rural, very quiet, ideal for watching the sunset and basking in the morning sun. It was so peaceful. Oh, and the hosts let me leave my motorbike in the garage overnight, which was great and much appreciated. The only downside was that the room was upstairs while the shower/bathroom was downstairs, so I was worried about disturbing others by going up and down the stairs—more my heavy-footedness, I suppose!

Everything was perfect! Before arrival, I received a precise itinerary. Christine welcomed me and was very available, kind, and chatty, and her companion was equally pleasant. The private lake is only 300 m away—pure bliss! Breakfast was very nice, and there were beautiful hikes nearby to enjoy.
