The surroundings were quiet, but the mattress, toilet, and shower could use some improvement.

I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful and clean accommodation, and my dog was welcomed while the other dogs on the premises behaved impeccably. The location is lovely and close to the ferry to Ameland.
The campsite was conveniently situated for cycling to Dokkumer E, the Dokkum hunting trail, and even low‑traffic Holwerd and Ameland. The host kindly arranged rental bikes for us, and the wind turbine served as a great landmark.
