“Auf gar keinen Fall zu empfehlen!”
The staff were super friendly, they carried our luggage to the room and brought us food on request, and when we wanted to leave Kintamani, Nyomang arranged a driver because no Grab driver would go there. The view was gorgeous. However, the place was utterly unclean: when we arrived the staff seemed surprised to have guests, we were taken to the room and a quick sweep was done before bed, yet dead little animals were still everywhere. A mosquito net had a huge bloodstain that could have been washed. The towels we received were damp and lacy. Later that evening a cockroach crawled through the room, and we counted three slugs in the bathroom. Two nice lounge chairs in front of the pool were unusable because they were broken. At the pool, my husband got sick after swimming because there were thousands of centipedes and mosquito larvae. It’s nature, but it doesn’t fit the rest of the hygiene. We could hear every cough and shower from the next room, and the road to the cars was extremely rough, forcing us to walk the last stretch with our luggage and backpack.
