“Lovely staff and in a great place.”

The staff were incredibly nice, welcoming and helpful, even letting us in early to change for a wedding; the room was comfortable and the bathroom spacious, the tea was excellent and the goody bag was a lovely touch. The breakfast was very slow, the poached eggs were poor, and I had to ask for butter on my toast. Because my room was on the ground floor, there was no privacy as pub tables sat right outside the windows.

The pub is lovely and in a great spot; the staff are very friendly, the atmosphere is great, and they all work together as a team to make you feel welcome. The evening meals and breakfasts were done to perfection. Our room, "Cocklestrand," just outside the pub was comfortable, clean, and offered lovely views down to the marshes. Plenty of parking was available. Thanks for the unexpected Hero goodie bag. The only minor issues were that the window frames and sills could use some attention, the blinds were a bit off, and the windows would open because the latches don’t work properly.

“Shockingly disappointed”

Nice location, but the room was tatty and small, the paint was peeling and the dust on the blinds was insane. It wasn’t clean at all, and I became very ill after eating at the pub restaurant. Never again.
