There was no breakfast, and the hotel, which is Chinese‑owned (as is the one next door), is constantly being worked on, so the banging starts early in the morning even on Sundays. Rooms have no TVs, only cheap projectors that are useless. The Wi‑Fi was slow when it worked, and the morning reception staff was worse than useless, unable to turn on the computer one morning. The lifts are also extremely slow.

The place was quiet, tidy, and spotless, and the location was fantastic, though there was no restaurant on site.

Watch out for this place – they’re basically scamming you. They advertise a pool with photos, but when you arrive they say you can’t use it. I booked for the wrong date, asked to change it, got no reply, so I had to rebook and pay again. They even charged me for the cancellation and won’t refund. I’ve already filed a complaint with all the evidence. They run the whole operation out of a supermarket.
