The free parking was handy and the room was really spacious, but the elevator was too small.

The hotel was very quiet with a vintage vibe, close to SUNY Polytechnic Institute, and the staff were friendly and helpful; the warm cookies were nice and it’s near the shopping center, but the bathroom was full of hair when we arrived, the price was high, and breakfast should have been free.
It’s a nice place in a decent spot, the staff welcomed us with warm cookies, but the restaurant was closed for renovations, which was disappointing since we spend a lot of time eating at the hotel.
It was convenient for my travel route, but I was given the wrong room type at check‑in; after being moved they promised a fold‑out bed that never arrived, the sofa was too dirty to sit or sleep on, and a staff member even told me I should have booked directly with the hotel instead of using a third‑party service to avoid the mix‑up.
“They don’t honor booking.com room type reserved. Many other fine hotels in the area.”
I booked a 2‑queen room, but at check‑in they said only one queen was available because I booked through a third‑party, so they didn’t give me the room type I reserved.
