“Great service, clean rooms, friendly staff, only problem was the lack of use of the pool”

The place was great overall, though I noticed locals dropping by for a free breakfast. The pool felt too small and should have been reserved for guests only; families who weren't staying there used it, even feeding their kids sandwiches at the upstairs conversation table and propping a shoe in the door to keep it open because they had no key. Because of the crowd, we couldn't use the pool.

“Overnight”

Getting to the Veteran Hospital was convenient, but the hotel looked clean while my companion ended up with bug bites all along one hip, and there was no hot water.

“Very welcoming hotel. Beautiful grounds, friendly staff. But having plastic/paper for breakfast was a big disappoint”

The property was very nice and the design impressed me; the courtyard was perfect for morning coffee. The staff were extremely friendly and appreciated the snacks and water they provided. The bathroom felt a bit dated but still clean. I didn't like the paper plates and plastic utensils at breakfast; they claimed the plates were recyclable but offered no way to recycle them, which isn't realistic for a hotel.
