The breakfast spread was wide, but the receptionist’s friendliness suffered due to the bus crowd of older ladies at check‑in.

The buffet breakfast was very good, and the hotel serves as an excellent base for exploring the Somme battlefields; it’s a basic place, but you can buy meals and there’s ample free parking.
