Forte Kochi looks stunning, with a traditional vibe and a tidy pool area. The breakfast spread mixes continental and local dishes, plus hot items you can order. Everything, even at The Jetty, tasted great. It’s a stone’s throw from the Chinese Fishing Nets, and the staff were always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. When we got there, a fire broke out in a nearby building, but the team handled it calmly and professionally, which was reassuring. On the downside, service could be slow sometimes—once our food arrived before our drinks—and there were moments when details slipped; we had to ask for water and for bowls and mugs at breakfast.

The spot’s location is superb, and the rooms give off a great vibe that makes the stay more enjoyable and comfy, especially thanks to Chacko, Amal & Shan—they’re the best. The food there is unbeatable: the French toast, the pina colada, and the prawns tray are the tastiest I’ve ever had.

Everything was good. Clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. I want to especially thank Nandena, Amal and Rahul for making our stay and my birthday special. Nandena gave my birthday a special touch by making our room. I really loved it! Amal and the entire staff made my birthday special with a lovely birthday cake. I was surprised and loved it!
