Since we were returning for a second time in the same room overlooking Lake Constance—exactly what we wanted—everything felt right again; the breakfast was solid, and we could pick our rolls and decide how many coffee cups we’d like.

There was really nothing to note, so I wouldn’t recommend it. The mattresses were too firm, the staff was unfriendly, requests fell through, the food failed to meet any expectations, and breakfast was extremely limited, only being set up after pre‑order; we couldn’t casually grab another coffee or snack if we got thirsty or hungry.

The location is great: from Stetten you can quickly head to Meersburg or take the highway to Lindau or Bregenz, the owners are very kind, and I had a balcony room with a view of Lake Constance. The downside is that the shower entrance is very steep.
