It was calm, the room was clean, check‑in and check‑out were simple and fast; the food options nearby were limited.

The place tells the story of cinema and is set in the Cabo de Gata park that looks very much like the landscapes of Lanzarote; the owner was extremely kind and guided us through the village streets, revisiting the film sets of Sergio Leone.

The room was wide, the silence was great, it was clean, the kitchen was usable, the air conditioning worked, the owner was friendly, and the bar below offers good prices and is very nice; however, there is very little to do in the area, and the road to Las Negras at night is winding, unlit, and a narrow lane between greenhouses.

The hotel is exceptional, a genuine old‑school place, impeccably clean with warm, close‑knit service; I left some dresses behind and they sent them back to me (despite the hassle I caused). It is far from the beaches, but to get to Mónsul you still need a car. It’s worth it, cheap, clean. The downstairs restaurant serves outstanding and affordable food. I’m fed up with charming spots and tiny apartments at golden prices. This is a truly authentic place, a real hotel, a classic one.
