EVERYTHING!!! Best stay in Sri Lanka ever. The location, and super friendly always smiling and welcoming staff, and amazing breakfast, and the HUGE bathroom - it was just perfect

The staff were extremely welcoming and gave us a lot of attention, even shaping towel figures daily and bringing us cool drinks after our beach trips; they offered us breakfast at 5 am when we left the hotel at 5:30 or to pack a take‑away set. Our room was spotless, cleaned twice each day—once in the morning after we got up and again in the evening before we went out—and featured two balconies, one for relaxing and another for drying clothes, plus a huge bathroom. Breakfasts were excellent, with a choice between Sri Lankan and English styles, each served with a plate of fruit, a smoothie, and tea or coffee. The room also supplied everything we needed, such as a beach bag, sun hats and towels. Traveling with family we booked two rooms, and both were placed on the same floor as we requested. No negatives to mention.

Just a stunning hotel! The rooms are brand new and have everything you could possibly need, even beach bags and hats. The bed is comfortable and the linens are superb. Besides the air‑conditioner, there’s an electric fan on the ceiling that really pushes the cool air around the room. Every room features a huge bathroom with a little balcony for drying swimsuits and a second balcony with chairs and a table. Service is outstanding – we never encountered such care and attention. The chilled juice they brought us each time we returned from the beach was a real treat! Every day they made little towel figures of people or animals – it was cute and funny. Before we left, they gave each room a small gift – a packet of tea. The staff are simply amazing, always striving for perfection. A special shout‑out for the early breakfast: we left at 7 am and they offered to prepare breakfast at 6 am instead of 8 am! We’ve never seen staff ready to serve breakfast two hours early. Huge thanks! The location is great – the shortest road to the beach is exactly 5 minutes, taking you to the very start of Unawatuna beach. We took a longer route to get closer to the beach center, which takes about 8–10 minutes. Everything was just perfect!

We were lucky to snag the ground‑floor room by the pool, which was amazing. It offered a quiet retreat after a day of sightseeing. The room was perfect, with a massive bathroom and complimentary beach towels, a beach bag, and sun hats – a first for us. What really set this hotel apart were the young men running it; they were incredibly helpful. A Valentine’s card and flowers upon arrival, a departure gift, and a thank‑you letter made us feel so welcomed. The towel lady relaxed on our bed too. Breakfast was perfect with plenty of options. The hotel is slightly off the busy road but only a 5‑minute walk to town and the beach. I would definitely recommend staying here.
