“Fully paid booking cancelled by the property on the day of arrival without a proper explanation, followed by a five-day”
The highlight was scrambling for a new place after they cancelled my fully paid booking on the arrival day. 😂 I never got to see anything I could actually enjoy about the property. Completely unacceptable. I had booked and paid ahead, yet the hotel cancelled my reservation the day before arrival with no proper explanation, throwing my plans into chaos and forcing me to find a last‑minute alternative. If I’d cancelled myself, I’d have faced a £50 fee, but they cancelled without any penalty. On top of that, it took about five days to get my money back. Extremely disappointing, unprofessional, and unfair to a paying guest. I won’t book here again and cannot recommend it.
Everything was perfect from the beginning. It’s a lovely place to stay. The lodge had everything you needed. The setting is very peaceful with great countryside views. Nothing to add.
Absolutely gorgeous place, so cosy and comfortable. Very private, hosts very nice too. Nothing else.

The view in the mornings was unreal; everything was exactly as expected. I couldn’t fault it.

Beautiful lodge and location, great if you have a dog thanks to the secure decking area, relaxing with fantastic scenery. Everything you could need is provided and the hot tub is just perfect. We even stayed an extra night and they could accommodate us! Karen is really nice and helpful too thank you ☺️ Nothing else.
