The setting and the character of the hotel were appealing. My room had a cover to the HVAC system that wasn’t flush against the wall, exposing the filter and showing thick accumulated dust.
“Beautiful but Pricey”
We enjoyed the terrace for a lovely dinner, the lobby looked pretty, and the rooms and bathrooms were nice. The PHH is a wonderful vacation spot, but over $500 a night feels very expensive; despite the hotel’s perks, I’ll probably look for a cheaper option.

The decor is very pretty and the outdoor setting is appealing, but the coffee maker on the second floor didn’t work well.
