The suite includes a private balcony, a private entrance and air‑conditioning. It sleeps two guests with a standard bed and can accommodate one extra bed or a crib. A private bathroom is provided for the occupants. Guests staying a minimum of two nights receive daily breakfast, a one‑way airport transfer, an Indonesian candle‑light dinner for one occasion and fresh flowers in the room.

The garden was stunning, bursting with flowers and a lovely pool, and the restaurant served food of a very high standard. Unfortunately, the mattress was uncomfortable due to its steel springs.

It’s a wonderful spot to unwind for a night or two after a long flight or to relax during the final days of a holiday; we would have loved to extend our stay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the location beside a beautiful garden was perfect, the pool overlooking the woods was delightful, and breakfast was excellent. No complaints – just note that the hotel is about an hour’s drive from the airport, but it’s definitely worth the trip.

It feels like an oasis in Medan, with a beautiful colonial building and fantastic gardens that are well maintained; perfect for a rest after a long flight. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is exceptional. Rooms are comfortable and fully equipped. I liked everything and would definitely return, but the only downside is that it takes over an hour to get from the airport to the hotel.
