The vibe here is chill and cool, with lovely décor and fixtures. Having a massive shower room is nice, even though it’s shared. The dorm room is comfortable and the social area is good.

The place was quiet and the beds were comfortable. There was no staff to greet us at all during my entire stay. The only time someone appeared was when I went to the lounge on arrival and a gentleman pointed out the water dispenser. I had almost no interaction with other guests, which was rare, and I had no interaction with the staff. The location is quite far from the train station and from Kochi.

I arrived late and it was dark, so I couldn’t tell much, but when morning came and the light increased it turned out to be a very charming place, and the staff were all wonderful. Some people might have different opinions about the building, though…

I liked the calm vibe of being surrounded by nature and the old‑fashioned charm. The owner was very friendly and attentive, which made me feel safe. The whole building was locked up, so that was reassuring, but the sound of the lock each time it was engaged or released kept bothering me, especially in the mornings when the space felt shared; it made me feel a little constrained if I wanted to relax freely. That’s a minor downside, but maybe that’s just the nature of this type of accommodation, and guests who understand that might not mind.

Everyone on the staff greeted me with smiles, making the stay feel very pleasant. I arrived by motorcycle, and one of the staff members was also a motorcycle enthusiast, so we had a great conversation about bikes. I also remember the female staff member who was incredibly beautiful (laughs). I didn’t find any issues or anything that could be improved; the stay was very comfortable.
