Getting there was a breeze and the setting is just lovely—lots of green, a lake, horses, dogs, cats, and a real sense of calm. The service was straightforward, no hiccups checking in or out, and I didn’t run into any problems during my brief stay. In fact, the little surprises were all pleasant.

We basically just slept there, which was fine, but the room was pretty dim and could have used a bit more light.

The staff were attentive and always ready to help, and the gentle horses by the lake made for a wonderful, calming interaction. The grounds are spacious, giving plenty of room to soak up the surrounding nature. Although the inn sits on a farm a short drive from town, the short stretch of dirt road is well‑maintained and didn’t affect the experience at all.
