The location was spot‑on, the hotel amenities were solid, and the concierge—Gambian gentleman named Saeed—was very helpful; breakfast service was excellent and the lobby and decor were exceptional. The price felt high, and tram noise seeped in despite the double‑pane windows, though it was only a bit loud.

The central location was outstanding; we arrived from the train station and it was literally a 6‑minute walk. Our 5th‑floor room offered a lovely view, the hotel itself was beautiful, and the service was excellent. Most hotels don’t have a DND lever on the wall—mention it at check‑in, please. We travel a lot and had never seen one before, which caused us to miss a room cleaning.

The location is excellent, 7‑8 minutes from the center, quiet and well‑insulated, with an elevator, luggage rack, and parking outside the hotel for an extra fee. The restaurant’s prices are high.
