The property sits within a tea estate, yet the new Balaji company studio apartment—located in places like Doors, Bolpur, etc.—is tiny, basic, and still under construction. It feels very remote, with no local amenities nearby, no Wi‑Fi, and a TV that isn’t working. The only on‑site restaurant is run by a man who doubles as the caretaker, so there’s only one food source. I don’t understand why the team is pricing this under‑construction property so high.

We were delighted with the restaurant, which served high-quality food that we thoroughly enjoyed. However, we initially intended to stay for just one night, but the hotel staff kindly allowed us to change our plans, which was a welcome surprise.
