“Clean, centrally located stay in Lecce”

We loved the apartment’s location; everything was walkable, and the central piazza was just a 5‑minute walk away. Check‑in was hassle‑free. The apartment was exceptionally clean and the staff were friendly. The breakfast spread was adequate, and everything tasted fresh. The only issue was that, while the area is quiet during the day, the neighborhood turns into a loud, boisterous spot at night because of a single bar downstairs. We were unlucky to stay on a Friday night, and the noise kept us up well into the night.

The location was incredible, right in the center. The style was very nice, and the common areas were aesthetically pleasing. The windows weren’t well insulated, and with many bars below and the nightlife, it was impossible to get proper rest. The cleanliness was awful—my room had sheets with hair, and the colleague’s room had an unclean bathroom, including a dirty toilet and a shower that didn’t work. The support team was rude, replying “what do you want me to do” when I reported the dirty bathroom. Breakfast was very poor, low quality, with discount pastries and cookies. For the price of the room, I expected at least a breakfast with local products. The access code was communicated incorrectly; we only got in thanks to the colleagues who were already there and had the correct code.

“Un tempo bellissima: ora leggermente decaduta”

The room was huge, with a hallway and an extra sofa/bed. There was a bathtub with a massage function, a walk‑in wardrobe, and a welcome bottle of sparkling wine. Unfortunately, during a heavy rainstorm water entered through a window that was supposedly closed; the shower head can’t be locked up; the handles and locks on all doors are a bit loose. Overall, the property looks dated, even though it was once prestigious. It needs a thorough cleaning and general refurbishment.

“Buona sistemazione a Lecce”

The building is split into two sections on the same floor of an old palace in Lecce’s historic centre. I liked the part that contains the breakfast room, the entrance with the office, the little lounge, and some of the rooms. My room felt too bare for its size and height, and some items need maintenance. The front door often stays open even though guests have all the access codes. The Wi‑Fi is weak and spotty.
