Breakfast was very basic but OK, and the bed was quite comfortable. However, arriving you’re met with a rotted‑out sign and a closed gate leading to a rough track. The accommodation was deathly cold, and the promised heating only raised the temperature by about 0.1 degrees with one log in the woodburner. There are many eco‑rules to follow—while the owners are eco‑warriors, imposing the same rules on guests should be stated in the listing, not after payment. Disappointing and poor value for money.

Nice and quiet, tucked away in the country. The hosts were very amenable and the home‑cooked breakfast was excellent.

“Fabulous”

We stayed in a gorgeous setting that felt like home, and Lyndal and Steve welcomed us warmly, making us feel right at ease. Gin, their beautiful dog, added to the charm. Every morning we enjoyed a fabulous breakfast and everything was handled with ease. We only wish we had booked a longer stay. Highly recommend.

“Farm Fantastic!”

Seeing how deeply our hosts care for their land and animals—sheep, goats, ducks, and more—was eye‑opening. They were a great team, greeting us with gracious hospitality and letting us join in animal routines that matched our interest and ability, which was really cool. The accommodations were very comfortable and our short stay proved enriching. Highly recommend!
