The location and cleanliness were good. The administrator’s attitude and the fact that I had to request shampoo because it wasn’t available were disappointing.

It was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Having a kitchen to cook meals was very helpful. The apartment had character and added to our stay in Trieste. The kitchen could have had a few more items, such as wooden spoons and a cheese grater.

“Безупречная чистота и гостеприимство”

The host Sandra was always in touch and gave us a lot of useful information. Immaculate cleanliness everywhere, including showers and toilets—our priority. The fan helped on hot days, the kitchen had a spacious fridge, stove with oven, kettle, and coffee maker. We didn’t need anything else. The only thing that slightly bothered us was street noise; perhaps rooms on the other side would be quieter. But that’s not the hostel’s fault—Trieste is a lively city… We would gladly return.

“Überteuerte Zimmer”

The staff were easy to reach on WhatsApp, which was a plus, but the floor creaked, the doors hadn't been updated, the bedding and towels were old, and there were no curtains or blinds. The shower drain was poor, and the place wasn't a hostel with shared areas—just bedrooms in an old apartment. It was also very noisy because we slept with the window open.
