Nothing really. I didn’t like the fact that I paid for a whole month and they made me leave a week early; they knocked on my door at 10 am, said we had to go, took my receipt down to the front desk and showed it, but they weren’t trying to listen—they even called the police on us.

“NEVER, EVER AGAIN! Disgusting, shady, UNSAFE”

I booked this place because of its cheap price and convenient spot near restaurants and shops, but it turned out to be a nightmare. The hotel looked much better online than it did in reality. The streets around were filled with suspicious people smoking on sidewalks and in cars, making us feel unsafe. Inside, the whole place was filthy: bathrooms were disgusting, the air smelled of smoke and drugs, and the beds were cheap mattresses on cheap metal frames. Even the soap was extremely cheap. Dogs barked in rooms all around us, and almost every item had a sticker saying “if you feel unsafe/if you’re here against your will,” even on the hand soap. The safety measures felt excessive and unnerving. Locals apparently avoid this place, but as an out-of-town visitor looking for a simple overnight stay, I had no clue it was so bad. If I had to choose between staying here or sleeping under a bridge or at the Suburban, I’d pick the bridge.
