Centrally located, well appointed suite (a free upgrade!) with a modern bathroom, air conditioning in a historic building that has been repurposed well. The elevator door got stuck so I was reluctant to try it again but the stairs are manageable

“Unpleasant experience”

Location. The location is good, but almost everything else was disappointing. Nothing about this hotel felt like a four-star hotel experience. This is not even a hotel. It feels like an Airbnb. Every time I needed something, I had to send a message via WhatsApp because there was usually no one at the front desk. I’ve never experienced anything like this before, except at hotels where I had butler service. But of course, the service at this hotel was nowhere near that level. Also, the hotel entrance is extremely difficult to find, the front door is particularly difficult to open, there is “no elevator”, the noise from the room above was extremely disturbing, breakfast is not even an option, and the room was not properly cleaned (I even found hairs on the pillow), and no staff are available after 10 p.m. Worst of all, the hotel owner was subtly suggested meeting up with me privately. As a woman traveling alone, I found this genuinely frightening. Unfortunately, the experience was nowhere near worth the price. I genuinely regret booking this hotel, and throughout my stay, I found myself missing the hotel near Rialto where I had stayed just before
