The room size was a plus. The noise was loud with the window open, and there was no table (with a matching chair) for writing or using a PC.

The breakfast was just fine, but I wish they’d remind guests about the house rules, especially the quiet hours, because some people were incredibly loud at night.

We stayed in a lovely room and could get coffee, tea, and water all day for free, but the breakfast could use a bit more variety—think raw veggies like peppers and cucumbers, natural yogurt, quark, and oatmeal.

The house is beautifully furnished, our room was spacious and the bed cozy, and the large double windows offer excellent sound insulation. Unfortunately, when we arrived in the evening, the hot water had failed, so after a tiring day we could only take cold showers and couldn’t use the bathtub. Instead of the promised 15 % discount, they offered us a breakfast we didn’t need. Even though the room was lovely, opening the windows meant looking straight onto the street, with a traffic light right in front of the windows and drivers staring at us, aside from the noise. The bathroom was no better—if the window were open, you’d see the street from the toilet. We won’t book a ground‑floor room again.

“Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.”

The rooms are tastefully decorated, quiet, and the bedding is lovely, while the staff are very friendly. What bothered us a bit was that nobody is on site except during breakfast, luggage can only be dropped off after 15:30, and you have to call ahead for someone to handle check‑in; a lift would also have been nice. Still, the positives far outweigh those minor issues.
