The pub was a charming old historic spot, but after booking we learned that because of its age the rooms were only reachable via a steep staircase and a spiral staircase; since my wife has mobility issues, we were offered a newly refurbished room that was not fully finished.

The location was fine, but the spiral fire escape made getting in and out a hassle, and the shower cubicle was too small with a shower head that gushed water like a tap.
