The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good enough, though you can hear a lot of noise between bedrooms and aisles.

The location is great, but the staff were very evasive at reception: we asked for a room with a double bed, got three single beds, and the receptionist told me I had a triple room only in the reservation—even though the booking clearly said a triple room for 2 adults and 1 child. The room supposedly had a bathtub, but it turned out to be an old-fashioned Italian shower with yellow old tiles and a worn curtain. The walls were peeling, it was poorly insulated, we heard doors slamming, neighbors talking, and when there was a party next door it was horrible. It wasn't very clean either, so it really doesn't deserve the 3 stars—maybe a 1 star, and I'm still being polite.
