Finca El Carrascal

I had the pleasure of staying in a cozy house that was fully equipped with everything we needed, including bedding, kitchenware, towels, firewood, and gas. The host was extremely friendly and helpful, always available to us. The breathtaking view from the house was the perfect complement to our stay. Overall, our experience was perfect.

“No creo que volvamos”

The apartment was quiet, spacious, and had almost everything we needed, including kitchenware, firewood, bedding, and towels. However, we encountered some issues with the solar-powered system, which caused the lights to flicker when we used the microwave at night. Unfortunately, the hot water didn't work for three days, and we had to wash our children in cold water. The apartment was old, but that was the least of our concerns.

“Avispas, avispas y más avispas”

The location of the house was perfect - we were surrounded by nature, and we didn't disturb or get disturbed by anyone. However, we encountered a swarm of bees that made it impossible to enjoy the outdoors during the day. The mesh screens in the living room were torn, allowing some bees to enter the house. I've stayed in many rural houses before, but this one had an excessive number of bees, which made our stay uncomfortable.

The only positive aspects of our stay were that it was brief and the house was located in a beautiful natural setting, although getting there was quite challenging. The access road was a 20-25 minute dirt and stone path that not all vehicles could navigate without difficulty, so it would be helpful to warn guests about this beforehand.

The only redeeming quality of our stay was the tranquility of the location. Unfortunately, we encountered some issues with the house, but I'll save those for another time.
