We stayed at this gorgeous seaside house and loved every minute; the spot is right by the sea, perfect for unwinding, and the place was spotless, comfy, and had everything we needed. We’d definitely book again and highly recommend it.

Ubytování fajn, vše funkční, krásný výhled na moře, pláž před barákem a velmi málo lidí, ke Sparu se dá přejít zadem mimo silnici, moc se nám tam líbilo, paní Noně děkujem a přejem mnoho spokojených ubytovaných. Vlak nám nakenec nevadil, v noci nejezdil nebo minimálně a přes den jsme ho vnímali spíše jako zajímavost.

“location was great, the constant noise, poor facilities made our stay disappointing”

The sea is very close, and the beach is clean, peaceful, and almost deserted. Batumi is easily accessible by public transportation. There is a grocery store about a 15-minute walk away. On the first day, the host was very friendly—she helped us find the property. Upon our arrival, while looking around the property, we noticed that there was a railway track directly beneath our window. We asked the host how often the trains passed, and she told us that they ran at most a couple of times a day. In reality, on weekdays trains passed almost every 30 minutes during the day and about once every hour at night. They were extremely noisy, and it was practically impossible to sleep without earplugs. The kitchen was poorly equipped. There were not even matching plates for six people. One of the kitchen cabinets would not close properly, and the refrigerator door had to be pushed firmly to stay shut. The hosts kept their own food in the freezer and came by from time to time to take something from it. They also occasionally used the washing machine that was supposed to be for our use, even though we had been told that the entire floor would be exclusively ours. The trash was not collected during our stay; we had to take it ourselves to a waste collection point located about a 5–6 minute walk away. The bathrooms had an unpleasant smell. Only hand soap was provided, and if the toilet paper ran out, we had to ask for more ourselves. During our seven-day stay, the property was not cleaned even once. In addition, the walls are very thin, so noise from both the floor below and the floor above could be heard very clearly

“The most amazing view, and the sea at our doorstep.”

The view! The view!! The VIEW!!! The 7 of us stayed on the top floor, with 4 rooms (each with a bathroom) and a kirtchen and terrace with a glorious view of the sea. This is the main attraction of these apartments, and that the sea and beach are there just below you, and not at all crowded (with very few other bathers in fact). We were able to cook, make lunches and dinners and when it became very hot nap in the air conditioned rooms. These are not luxury apartments, but for the price had exactly what we wanted; we could swim on a quiet beach whenever we wanted and eat, drink, talk, laugh and smoke on a terrace looking out upon the vast Black Sea (and watch beautiful sunsets!!!). Some days we spotted dolphins swimming past us. The centre of Chakvi has all the shops we needed, and Batumi and its sites are also very close by. The owners are kind and helpful people (they speak Georgian and Russian - we do not, but it was not a problem) We reccomend this place to familes or groups of friends on a budget, and/or whose priorites are a great location and peace and quiet. There are lots of little repairs that need to be done, but none that we a big problem for us. And it does need a big overall deep cleaning. If I were the owner I would renovate the entire top floor, new everything and in white, but of course that would increase the price. In truth we would happily go back here, even with bad mattresses or the broken window panes. (The train tracks in front of the house might bother some people, but it did NOT bother us at all).
