The pool’s seating area and bar were great, the operator ran a good breakfast, and booking a private tour was a breeze. The bed felt a little small and the location was a bit off‑center.

“Versteckter Geheimtipp mit Familyflair”

Pedro and Esther, the owners of Sparrow's Nest, were genuinely kind and attentive; they personally drove us to Momo Beach at 5:30 am. Through them we could book a private land tour covering the Chocolate Hills, Loboc River, zipline, Tarsier Sanctuary, Man‑Made Forest, and more. The breakfast options were plentiful, and I highly recommend trying the house‑brewed “Crazy Carabao” beer, which is always available on site. The pool is also a nice spot to cool off. The place is somewhat off‑center, which can be seen as a drawback or a plus, but otherwise there’s nothing to complain about.

“Parfait séjour! Merci à vous.”

Staying at this cozy, intimate hotel with just four rooms was perfect. Pierre, Esther, and Maryline welcomed us warmly. The hotel is pretty and comfortable, with a pool, air‑conditioning, and all the usual amenities. There’s a common table for all guests where we chat, meet people, and laugh. In the evenings Pierre joins us for beers. Pierre and Esther can take us wherever we want, and a scooter is available for 350 P. Breakfast is good, and you can order dinner in the evening. The staff are charming, smiling, and welcoming—highly recommended.

The room was very well maintained, and the owners put a lot of thought into designing these rooms with plenty of facilities, including a pool and bar. The location is outside the main core, so you’d need a scooter or a Grab ride to get around; Grab can be hard to find at certain times, and the driveway isn’t paved, becoming muddy after rain, so watch your step.
