Location: about a 10‑minute walk from the subway to the hotel, and all major sights are within walking distance—especially the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain, reachable in under five minutes; the Colosseum takes about 20 minutes on foot. Room: elevator and air‑conditioning, good feel. Bathroom water was surprisingly good, with shower gel and a shower cap, but no toothbrush, toothpaste, or disposable slippers. Public areas had water, but the room didn’t provide bottled water. Nearby: a coffee shop a few steps down, often with a queue; we ate breakfast there every day and the food was good. Bathroom leakage was moderate; if you wash for a long time, some water will pool.

The room was clean at least, and the location was near the US embassy with a walkable park for a stroller; the coffee machine was good and pastries were free, and I could drop off luggage all day if needed. The next to a pricey department store, the area felt a bit grimy, and the graffiti‑covered elevator looked unwelcoming, like walking into a dentist office turned into a place to sleep.
