The bed was big but very bouncy. The friendly owner told me he has been doing the rooms up and for a little more £ the ground floor rooms have new furniture etc. We were happy with being upstairs as the balcony was very private. Friendly. Great view of the sea. Good outside private space. Free drinking water daily.

The team was super friendly, especially the restaurant manager who spoke excellent English, and the boss even went out of his way to send my swimming goggles back to the airport so I could pick them up—great restaurant with fresh fish and shrimp dishes. The breakfast could have been a bit more extensive without charging extra.

The spot right on the beach is great, and the staff were incredibly helpful, even bringing drinks to our veranda. The bar and dining area felt flat, but most places in Agonda were empty, so there wasn’t much crowd. A fridge in the room would be handy.
