The front‑desk staff were really friendly, yet the room reeked of smoke, the central air barely blew any cold air so it stayed hot, and I had to borrow a portable fan from reception.

The location is average and off the main road, which works well for drivers visiting friends in Pingtung; the hotel offers a big room with a large bathtub, a huge bed and plenty of parking space. Breakfast is fine if you go to the nearby café, but the line is long, so ordering room service with the voucher is preferable; the room feels a bit dated though the size makes up for it.

The garage under the room was a plus, but the rooms had a strong cigarette smell that was really unpleasant, and the breakfast was subpar.
