The spot’s right by the Hunter Valley wine tours, beds are comfy and the price is solid for what you get. I wasn’t sure if the tap water in the room was drinkable, and there’s no refill fountain. When we asked for bottled water, we only received two plastic bottles for the three of us.

We didn’t get much to praise. When we returned to the motel at 9 pm, there were no parking spots left, so we had to drive 200 m up Main Street. The bathroom door was stuck with a cable tie, the air‑con made a lot of noise, and the room had a strong odor.

There’s nothing positive to mention. Parking was impossible even though the listing said “I’ll have a parking spot.”
