The main property is wonderful, full of character with a private lake and orchards. It sits in an exceptional rural setting with superb views. It's a Victorian grand house with many original features. The host was very welcoming, even giving us a tour of the main house upon arrival. Our room, located away from the main house, was comfortable and close to the parking. The bed was comfy and the furnishings were good. The bathroom had no window and the lighting was on a long sensor. Water from the shower easily spilled onto the floor. The walls between the adjoining room and ours weren't very soundproof, causing some sleep disturbance at night.

Fantastic stay. The location is unbelievable. Ella and Ruby looked after me, showed me around, and cooked my first ever Indian breakfast. Phenomenal! Nothing else to mention.

Manni was a great host and even gave us a small tour of some of the rooms in the grand house. We slept very well and the views were beautiful. Our bathroom door handle was broken, but Manni assured us it would be fixed for the next visitors. We opted for the traditional Indian breakfast (2x chapattis and two dips), Indian tea, and some fruit. All was tasty, but we didn't feel it was £15 worth, especially since it was said to be £10. We would definitely come back and stay again.

The manor sits in a beautiful country setting. The nearest main town is a 15 minute drive away, offering many pubs, restaurants, and shops. Manny, the hotel manager, was very friendly, hospitable, and helpful throughout our stay. We really enjoyed the Indian breakfast available on site. We booked the family room at the last minute for three of us, but the room could accommodate 5‑6 people, which I thought was very good value. The space is pretty basic but includes a decent shower/bathroom and a TV connected to Netflix, etc. We enjoyed it very much and thought it was good value for money; it feels more like a community space than a mid‑range or high‑end hotel you might expect from the grandeur of the property. That being said, we felt very welcome, it was comfortable, and it suited our needs.
