Just 300 m from SM Lagan, where the marathon I was attending in Davao took place, the staff were very friendly and polite. A window in the room and another in the bathroom cannot be closed, which is very annoying when the room faces the street. The bathroom door only holds with the lower latch, the middle latch is missing, and the upper latch is held by a single screw. Light from the hallway leaks around the front door of the room.

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was marred by a dirty and smelly environment. Despite the initial appearance of cleanliness, a closer inspection revealed a grimy and unpleasant atmosphere that made my stay quite uncomfortable.

I was initially hesitant to book a room on the 4th floor, given the lack of an elevator, but the young room I stayed in was a great choice. However, I was a bit concerned about the cleanliness and maintenance of the room, as the staff could have done a better job with the cleaning and ensuring that the bathroom was leak-free. Despite these issues, the room itself was quite pleasant, and the staff's efforts to address my concerns were appreciated.
