I spent less than an hour here and walked out immediately because the grounds were filthy, the office was in terrible shape, the bed linens were torn, the light fixtures were exposed, and there was not even a trash can. I expect a refund.

The location is great and the parking lot is well lit, but I had to go to Walmart to buy new sheets, pillows, and pillowcases, and I also had to purchase cleaning supplies and clean the room myself before I could settle in. Cleanliness and maintenance need serious improvement.

The spot is definitely fantastic—just a 15‑minute walk or a 5‑minute drive to the small town of Micanopy. We ran out of hot water for a while because the pipes froze in winter, but the staff fixed it right away.

Close to Micanopy and decent for a UF trip; it’s the only affordable family weekend option. The place is so dilapidated that the owner needs a loan to fix it up or risk losing it.
