“Great place to spend one night”
The place was nice and we even received a free upgrade, the receptionist was great, but there were still some spiderwebs left in the windows, a bit overlooked, and the equipment felt older.

The bed was fine, but the bathroom had mould, the deck was dirty and the chairs were basic; there were 13 stairs to reach the room outside and another 3 stairs inside, making it hard to navigate, and the price for this room was outrageous.

I was thrilled with the location and the upgrade they offered, and the view in the morning was absolutely stunning.

The location was very central and easy to reach all restaurants and attractions; check‑in went smoothly with staff who were efficient, friendly, and even resolved a booking issue that forced us to cancel a night due to a medical emergency, which we greatly appreciated, and they gave us a lovely suite overlooking the marina that included a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker; however, our loft suite meant we had to descend the stairs to use the single bathroom in the middle of the night.

The location was excellent, close to great restaurants, hiking, and biking, and convenient for visiting Long Beach, yet the building looked a little run down, not entirely clean, had a quirky room layout, no elevator to reach the 2nd floor with heavy luggage, and the front office staff were efficient but cold and distant, lacking social warmth.
