Huge praise and thanks to the very kind staff—maintenance, housekeeping, and services—all super friendly; Glowe is always worth a trip for us, but the hotel has seen a lot, the furniture looks worn, the paint is peeling, and a renovation would definitely help 😉

The location was great and the breakfast was superb, but the rooms felt a bit outdated and the showers were a real pain with their steep entry and small size. The hotel was staffed by only one person in the evening, who handled the front desk, all other duties, and also ran the restaurant, so food could take up to an hour to arrive. Despite the stress and obvious lack of staff, we were still treated very kindly.

Breakfast was balanced, nothing missing, and tasty. Glow is not a hotspot, but if you want peace, you’re quickly surrounded by beautiful nature, perfect for hiking or even cycling. We enjoyed the four days, and the wellness area was also good. The only downside at breakfast: as an omelette fan, I felt a lot of liquid dripped out.

The hotel is right next to the beach, on the outskirts of town surrounded by plenty of greenery. The breakfast was very varied. Unfortunately, there aren’t enough parking spaces for all guests.
