The child received a gift upon arrival. The gift was one of two parts, split among three of us 🤪. Breakfasts, beds, and a phantom shuttle were the negatives.

The Dorsett Hotel’s proximity to cafés and its shuttle bus were a real plus, especially for reaching the railway station. The room was fine, but the bathroom lacked a proper soap dispenser and a toilet brush. I’m puzzled by the heavy doona supplied in a tropical climate; a lighter sheet and blanket would have sufficed, as the doona felt too heavy and warm.
