The view is beautiful, staff is great. Big comfy bed. Huge wall of windows facing the mountains. Kitchen was perfect. Shower had a rain style head which was great. When we booked the pics showed a tub and balcony but when we got to the room we had a downstairs room with a shower only. There were vacant upstairs rooms, so that was a bit disappointing. It wasn’t something worth hashing out since it was late and we were tired from traveling so in fairness, we also didn’t bring it up

The accommodation matched the pictures, and the sunsets here are the best in the area; it’s a charming spot with simple but sufficient kitchen facilities. The housekeeping staff kept everything spotless, and the front‑desk lady gave us excellent recommendations. The rain and wind make a lot of noise through the roof, but that seems to be common to all the cabins in Monteverde.
