The location was good, but parking was difficult in this part of Bristol. The staff at the Lido across the road from the guesthouse were okay, though not particularly friendly or helpful because they were busy with Lido visitors in July. The shower and bath were in the room, which was fine, but the toilet was in a tiny cupboard with a small washbasin, making the room feel poorly designed for anyone staying longer than a night, resulting in an 8.0/10.

Access to the lido was available throughout the stay and the bed was lovely and comfy, but parking was not good—there was a 10 minute walk to the car park—giving an 8.0/10.

The Lido was great for swimming, and the food was reasonably priced and excellent; the staff were really friendly. The pub opposite was a bit loud until about midnight, but that wasn’t the LIFO’s fault.
