The property shut down more than a month before my arrival and nobody informed me; now I’m trying to recover my payment.

The accommodation had closed, but we weren’t notified; we ended up standing in front of the shut‑down building for which we had already paid.

The place doesn’t exist, and even though they said customers should be contacted, they didn’t do it, left me without accommodation, offered me a pathetic compensation, and I won’t stay there again.

The place had been closed for three weeks, which forced me to take a £30 taxi to stay at a friend’s house in South Shields, and they also took my £16.20. I had no idea it was closed.
