I was shocked when the host demanded an advance payment even though the app never suggested it, and the room they gave us was a disaster: no Wi‑Fi, a filthy bathroom with spiders, a fan that sounded like it was about to break, a cramped space, and a corner of the terrace that felt more like a closet. When we asked for a room change after seeing all the issues, they refused, and when we requested a full refund they outright declined to give us our money back.
