The place is very pleasant, and the staff are friendly. The bar is beautiful, spacious and busy, and the garden terrace is fantastic. The bathtub needs some support – it’s huge and has no handholds.

The staff were extremely friendly and the location was right in the heart of the city, yet the bed we asked for was supposed to be a double and turned out to be tiny, about 1.35 m wide and barely 1.90 m long.

Excellent location, the bar patio is lovely, and everyone was very helpful. However, there were no outlets next to the bed, so I had to buy an extension and unplug the TV and fridge at night.

Breakfast was a simple local affair – coffee, a croissant from the display case and an orange juice, which was enough for me, and I enjoyed the morning buzz of locals gathering. The only thing that bothered me was a constant humming noise that seemed to come from a climate‑control unit somewhere in or on the building and lasted almost the whole night.
