The place was beautiful and in a great spot, and the food was excellent—we ate dinner at their restaurant and the chefs deserved compliments. During our two days and two nights we enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and dinner there. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you very much. We booked two standard rooms and received a free upgrade to the riverfront rooms. It’s great to open the door and see the creek and hear the waterfall… I hope to return in a couple of weeks when the rest of the family is in Chiang Mai. The bed is a bit too firm for my taste; a mattress topper and fluffier pillows would help. The internet is slow and I struggled to connect to their free Wi‑Fi. There are no closets or hooks, so we left clothes in open suitcases on the floor throughout our stay 😅

The location is up in the mountains; our room and balcony overlooked the Mae Sa river, which feeds several waterfalls, and there were more upstream to explore. We visited during the rainy season, so the waterfalls were in full flow. Breakfast was a bit limited but not bad; it was the rainy season, so there weren’t many tourists, which explains the modest spread. The owners had a decorator spruce up the rooms before high season, which is a good sign that full operation will start then. I would definitely stay again; the staff are very welcoming, though the beds feel a bit hard to me. The location requires a car, a hire, or group minibus tours; it’s about 20–30 minutes to Chiang Mai city if you’re into the concrete jungle, which I’m not.

This hotel is perfectly situated right on the main road, making it easy to get around and explore the local attractions. The breakfast is a highlight, with freshly baked bread and homemade strawberry jam that's a real treat. My room was right next to the river, which was a lovely touch, and the price was very reasonable. The staff are also incredibly friendly and welcoming.
