The room was spacious, very clean, with a wonderful bath, and the location was good for day trips with a car. The staff were courteous and service‑oriented. A special thanks to the chef, who is also the owner, for helping us get there. It turned out that after a change of ownership our reservation was deleted, yet they still found us a room and kept the original rate. It’s unclear how Booking didn’t update us. Nothing else to note.

Lovely traditional pub with fantastic staff and excellent restaurant. Rooms were very hot due to the heatwave (not in their control!)
