I stayed in a pretty spacious apartment with a balcony overlooking the sea; the facilities were all great, though the mattress felt very soft to me, which is a personal preference, but the bed itself was fine. The owner welcomed us warmly and gave clear instructions. The car could be parked inside the building, and the parking stand is on the other side within walking distance. In the morning they served breakfast consisting of a croissant and coffee – simple but good.

The spot is right on the sea, with both free and equipped beaches, just over 1 km from the town centre and the port. The owner was kind and helpful, the place was clean, and the building’s architecture is a treat for fans of Le Corbusier. The only downside is the breakfast at the beach bar, literally a 2‑minute walk from the apartment – it isn’t very good or well supplied, but it’s the only bar nearby, so I’d suggest other tourists head to one of the great pastry shops reachable by car instead.
