“Sehr fragwürdig”
It was clean and the location was good. Nobody was reachable at check‑in, children from the neighborhood knew the front door code, and another guest helped me. Instead of a single room, I ended up with a bed in a dorm.

The Ondol was good. The futon was not.

I was close to the train station and the place was clean and quiet during my day stay, but it was usually empty so I had to ask the host for the self‑check‑in details and room number first.

We rented the entire lower floor for seven people and could chat in the living room while preparing our gathering; we had access to two bathrooms, so the larger group was comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped with a pot, microwave, etc., making it easy to eat instant noodles and snacks. A convenience store is a five‑minute walk away, the surroundings are quiet and tidy, and parking near the property isn’t difficult. The only drawback is that the double‑decker bed in the bedroom is packed tight, so if you have a lot of luggage it might feel a bit cramped; we only stayed one night, so it wasn’t a big issue.

The hosts were quick to reply to every message, the apartment was spotless, and the kitchen had all the essentials; the living‑dining area was nice, and I really loved the location—close to the train station, in a safe neighborhood, and just a short walk to a market with many restaurants, bakeries, and coffee shops, so I didn’t have to travel far for dinner or lunch, and some places stayed open late. The only downside, like most Korean hostels I’ve stayed at, was that the mattress was hard and the linens felt a bit plastic‑like, but it wasn’t the worst I’ve experienced.
