GV Hotel - Catbalogan

“Inexpensive, good location but only cold showers”

Inexpensive, centrally located, close to dining options. The downside is that it only offers cold showers, no bottled water service, and the cleanliness of the laundry and rooms could be better.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The sheets, however, feel old.

“A basic hotel for budget travelers.”

Gv hotels cater to budget travelers, offering a very basic room with a bathroom. The A/C usually works, but the Wi‑Fi is sometimes reliable and other times spotty. If you don’t expect much, it will suffice for a few nights. One thing I noticed is that every other Gv hotel I stayed at had a water battle, except for this one—nothing major, just something that made me wonder.

“A little bit good”

The staff at this hotel were friendly and helpful, which was a plus, but unfortunately, the room itself was a different story. The bed was dirty and smelly, and when you lifted the covers, you'd find a mess underneath. The air conditioning was also ridiculously loud, like a boat engine, and there was no heater to speak of. Needless to say, it was a pretty miserable night.

“I like the location and people also the internet…”

The hotel's location was its best feature - it was close to everything. Unfortunately, the room itself was a letdown. The sheets were thin, and the air conditioning was inconsistent, making it hard to get a comfortable temperature. To make matters worse, there were no hot showers, which was a real disappointment.
